Printmaking does not need to be complicated!
This workshop offers an introduction to relief printing, a technique where the printing surface is carved or etched, leaving only the design to be printed. Instead of using traditional carving methods, we use leaves from trees and bushes to highlight the intricate veins of the plants. Through this hands-on experience, children will discover a unique printing method, explore new tools, and gain a deeper appreciation for the beautiful details of the natural world around them.
We print on fabrics (Tote bags, Make-up bags…) using leaves and stamps. No lino or woodcutting involved.
This workshop makes, for example, for an easy and original mother- or fathers day present.
